Dear Community Member
This is not another commemorative event.
On January 18, we are bringing people together for an honest, timely conversation about leadership, race, and responsibility in 2026, inspired by the legacies of the Hon. Lincoln Alexander and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
We are living in a moment where many people feel tired, disengaged, or unsure where their voice fits. This brunch is about slowing down, sitting together, and asking a harder question: What do the values Linc and Martin stand for demand of us right now?
This is not a lecture.
This is not a performance.
It is a facilitated conversation grounded in history, lived experience, and action.
We are honoured to welcome Dr. Leanne Taylor as our guest speaker, alongside host Dr. Evelyn Myrie, for a dialogue that is reflective, challenging, and relevant to our city today.
If you are concerned about the growing intolerance, racism, and hate we are seeing in our community, we invite you to join this conversation
